Location
The Hotel Trevi is in the heart of the historic center of Rome, near the famous Trevi Fountain, that Federico Fellini immortalized in a scene from his masterpiece "La Dolce Vita;" if you say in our historic structure, you can easily access all of the city's most enchanting sites.
The colle del Quirinale, the offices of the President of the Italian Republic, are just a few steps from our hotel along with the Chiesa di San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane, the work of Borromini. In less than ten minutes, you can be at the romantic Piazza di Spagna, overlooked by the steps of the Trinità dei Monti and enlivened by the people who gather in the nearby Via dei Condotti for exclusive and refined shopping.
Traveling south, walking along Via del Corso, you'll reach Piazza Venezia, where you can admire the Altare della Ptria including the stately monument of Vittoriano; traveling down Via dei Fori Imperiali, you'll reach the ancient Rome of markets and temples while the imposing silhouette of the Coliseum, the ancient gladiator arena, rises in the distance.
The Piazza Barberini is less than 500 meters from Hotel Trevi. The elegant forms decorating the Tritone Fountain by Berini are in front of this beautiful building of the same name; we are near the Teatro dell'Opera of Rome, a famous theater with the largest crystal chandelier in Europe.
We can't leave Rome without seeing the splendid Piazza Navona at least once, the Baroque triumph and romantic setting that will win you over with the presence of the Chiesa di Sant'Agnese and the sculptures that Bernini envisioned for the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, a true masterpiece. During the Christmas season, markets and stands invite you to visit one of the most fascinating piazzas in the city.
San Pietro
If you take bus 64 from Stazione Termini, you'll visit one of the "must-see" spots during your stay in Rome: the Basilica di San Pietro. Its cupola, designed by Michelangelo, is over 130 meters tall and one of the symbols of the city. Its central nave, decorated by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, is a masterpiece with the sculpture, La Pietà, by Michelangelo and the works by Canova. Underground, the Vatican grottos are home to the popes' tombs while the magnificent porticos of Piazza San Pietro, the location of the most-important Catholic gatherings, are in front of its immense external facade.

How to reach us
By Train
From the Stazione Termini you can reach our hotel by taxi or by bus 175 (Partigiani FS) that leaves from the ‘Termini’ stop every 10 minutes; get off at the ‘Tritone/Fontana di Trevi’ stop and continue on foot down via Tritone and then turn left on via della Stamperia and again on via San Vincenzo until you reach a small alley, vicolo del Babuccio, where you'll find Hotel Trevi at number 20.
By Air
The ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ Fiumicino Airport is 30 km away. To reach the hotel, take one of the local trains that leave every 30 minutes towards the Stazione Termini; when you get to the station, follow the directions set forth under "By Train." The Ciampino Airport is 15 km away. Take the direct bus to the end of subway line A (Anagnina) and you'll reach the Stazione Termini; then follow the directions under "By Train." A taxi service is available at both stations.
By Car
You'll reach Rome via the highway. Take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) and go towards downtown Rome, following the directions for ‘Piazza Quirinale/Centro Storico’; once you reach the piazza, take via della Dataria. After 200 m, you'll see vicolo del Babuccio on the right. Hotel Trevi is at number 20. The hotel is right downtown in the ZTL area (limited traffic area); don't worry about traveling in areas monitored by video cameras. Leave your license plate number with the reception. We'll make sure that the authorities receive the necessary documentation to avoid fines.
